Using Diff Engine
Diff Engine is a tool that allows you to compare your translations between Localesy and your codebase. Learn how to use it to your advantage.
Use cases
Diff Engine allows users to compare translations between Localesy and their codebase and select which changes to apply afterwards.
You may encounter Diff Engine in the following scenarios:
- Pulling changes from Github to Localesy
- Pushing changes from Localesy to Github
- Filling missing translations
Thanks to Diff Engine, you can:
- Compare translations - see the differences between your codebase and Localesy or vice versa.
- Select changes to apply - select which changes you want to apply to your codebase or Localesy.
How to use Diff Engine?
- Perform an action that displays Diff Engine (see above)
- Select the changes you want to apply
- Click on the "Apply changes" button (name can differ depending on the use case)
You can cancel the changes by clicking on the "Cancel" button.
