Getting Started
The guide below will help you get started with the Localesy platform.
1. Create an account
To get started, you'll need to create a Localesy account.
- Navigate to the signup page on our platform and provide the necessary details to register. You can use either your email address or your Github account to sign up.
- Follow the onboarding process to personalize your experience and create your personal organization.
- Once you've completed the onboarding process, you'll be redirected to the dashboard where you can create your first project.
2. Create your first project
With your newly created account, you can now create your first project.
- Navigate to the dashboard and click the "Create Project" button.
- Choose how you want to create your translations:
- Select "Existing project with translations" option
- Choose the source of your translations to import them:
- Github - install our Localesy Github App. Learn more about Github Integration.
- Upload files - upload your existing JSON, YAML or PO files directly to Localesy.
- Select "Set up translations from scratch" option
- Choose the target output of your translations:
- Github - install our Localesy Github App and select the target repository you want to sync translations to.
- JSON - you will be able to download your translations as JSON.
- Configure the rest of your project settings.
- Once you're ready, click the "Create Project" button.
- Congratulations! You've created your first project! 🎉

3. Use the platform!
That's all you need to get started with Localesy. But the fun doesn't stop there!
Having the project with translations in place, you can now:
- View, modify and create new translations
- Learn how to synchronise changes
- Invite team members to your organization
